Every picture has a heartbeat—a moment frozen in time that speaks louder than words.
For me, photography is not just an art; it’s a way of telling stories that often go unheard.
I am Samar Prasad (SamPixPro) — a Software Architect, wildlife photographer, and filmmaker who has captured over 300+ species of birds across the globe. A traveler to more than 15+ countries, I blend technology with art, directing award-winning short and feature films while also working with NGOs as a dedicated social worker.
Through SamPixPro, I believe:

My journey began with the flutter of wings and the call of the wild. The forests of Purulia and beyond became my canvas—where I patiently followed light, silence, and shadows to capture the untamed beauty of birds. Over the years, I have photographed 300+ species, each with its own rhythm, story, and spirit.
But my lens doesn’t stop at birds. Landscapes, portraits, and creative human expressions all find their way into my frame—each image reflecting emotion, connection, and truth.
I am also the Founder of SAM Production and “Purulia Dungri Madol”—platforms dedicated to nurturing creativity, promoting cultural heritage, and supporting local talent.
Beyond the camera, I work as a social worker in interior villages, reaching out to children who lack access to proper education and basic facilities. Through these initiatives, I strive to make art and empathy walk hand in hand.
